CONTAGIOUS WISDOM

He who walks with wise men will be wise.” Proverbs 13:20

When there is an outbreak of a contagious disease, those who are exposed to a sick person run the risk of falling ill to the same sickness. Breathing the same air in close quarters, drinking from the same glass or handling the utensils of the sick person may take their toll on a caregiver or family member.

Wise men and women are also contagious. When we spend time with them, we start to think like they think. We take on their attitudes and reactions. We start making wise decisions, and with that constant exposure, we grow in wisdom. Let’s choose to surround ourselves with wise people and let them influence us to live lives of wisdom, also!

Prayer: Father, Help us to observe the wise people You’ve put in our lives. Let us walk with them and learn from them. Amen!
